Christopher Barwa works as Country Implementation Associate at Open Ownership. In this role, he supports various aspects of coordination and administration within the country implementation team across Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. He has extensive experience working at national and sub-national levels in programme implementation, coordination and stakeholder engagement, which he leverages to support the implementation team in delivering OO’s programs effectively.
Before joining OO, Christopher worked in the humanitarian sector with the Namibia Red Cross, where he served as a Disaster Management Officer at national level. He also held the role of Co-Chair for the Southern Africa Cash Assistance Community of Practice under the IFRC Southern Africa Cluster. He is also passionate about media, having done volunteer work at a local creative agency. Christopher is currently based in Windhoek, Namibia.
