Isabelle is the Communications Manager at Open Ownership, and takes a strategic approach to driving the communications function to support organisational goals.
Prior to joining Open Ownership, Isabelle spent several years working on transparency, accountability and anti-corruption, before which she worked in the humanitarian and development sectors. She has worked for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Sudan, Integrity Action in London, and for an anti-corruption organisation in Vienna. She previously worked for a youth peace organisation in Sweden and a sustainable development NGO in Sri Lanka on issues including development and aid effectiveness.
Currently based in London, Isabelle holds an MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies and a BA in Modern Languages. Bilingual in Swedish and English, she also speaks Spanish, German, and Dutch, and basic Arabic and Sinhala.
