Maria Jofre is Open Ownership’s Data Analyst. She helps stakeholders worldwide utilise beneficial ownership data. Her responsibilities include conducting data analysis, providing support for the Beneficial Ownership Data Standard, sharing insights from evaluations and partnerships, and developing technology tools aligned with user needs.
Maria has spent more than a decade in academia, contributing to and leading EU-funded projects and international consultancy efforts across several countries. Her expertise spans crime analysis, risk assessment and machine learning. Now based in Chile, she holds a PhD in Business Analytics, a Master’s in Operations Management, and a degree in Industrial Engineering. Maria has previously lived in Sydney, Australia and Milan, Italy.
