Rodrigo Felix Montalvo is Open Ownership’s Regional Manager for the Americas. He leads on providing technical support to national governments and regional bodies in Latin America on legal, policy, and digital reforms to advance transparency, open data, and integrity as pillars for good governance.
With over 14 years of experience, Rodrigo's passion lies in driving positive change through project management, international cooperation, and impactful policy strategies. Before joining Open Ownership, he led anti-corruption and digitalisation efforts for Mexico at the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the Government Digital Service's Global Digital Marketplace.
Within the Mexican public service, Rodrigo worked as Chief Technical Advisor for three Federal Ministers of Economy, taking an active role in international negotiations and championing economic competition, innovation, and integrity.
Rodrigo is a founding member of the Mexican Artificial Intelligence Coalition, IA203MX. Currently, he is channeling his expertise on improving the prevention, detection, and investigation of corruption and transnational crime, whilst harnessing new technologies for enhanced accountability.
