Current ongoing work
Open Ownership (OO) is supporting the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in improving beneficial ownership data quality through the use of a data standard (the Beneficial Ownership Data Standard) and developing its verification mechanism. OO is also providing expert capacity-building and technical expertise training on beneficial ownership data verification and data use to the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources on verification of foreign entities and the use of beneficial ownership information for licence screening.
