Directionality
Diagrams may be either vertical or horizontal. Choose which, based on the space you have available.
Vertical
In vertical diagrams, Arrows must point down.
Prefer vertical diagrams if space allows.
Horizontal
In horizontal diagrams, Arrows must point in the direction of writing.
- In left-to-right contexts, such as English, Arrows will point right.
- In right-to-left contexts, such as Arabic, Arrows will point left.
