To attempt to answer these questions, OO examined open BODS data from the United Kingdom, which OO republishes on a regular basis via its BODS data analysis tools. OO also harnessed Deepnote’s data science platform and the NetworkX Python package for analysing complex networks.
The results of OO’s investigation can be found in this public red flags analysis Deepnote notebook. Where possible, new queries have been added to OO’s BODS analysis Github repository which already provides dozens of example queries that analysts can use to examine BODS data. Those queries are also used by OO’s analysis notebooks and dashboards for BODS data.
