Aims of project
- Combine open beneficial ownership data from Open Ownership with sanctions/politically exposed persons data from OpenSanctions and visualise it on the Linkurious platform which offers a free platform to visualise and explore the data.
- The combination of data about beneficial owners from Open Ownership and information about sanctioned individuals and entities from OpenSanctions makes it easier to identify the risky entities around sanctioned individuals.
- In the example illustrated in this news story, you can see how OpenScreening highlights the links between a sanctioned Russian individual - Dmitry Ivanov - and UK companies.
